Photography has always been an interest . Now I have a new camera, and I am really challenged. Also, this will open new "lens" to meet new people that have the same interest.
I love it so far.

Hi Julie, it's not a matter of standing, it's the fire codes. We can only admit a limited number of people before the library asks us to leave. Tom is going to post his presentation to the website. Keep an eye on the RVP numbers and see if you move up on the wait list. I will have to turn people away once we have reached the maximum. This is the first time it has happened, but I'm sure we can talk Tom into a repeat performance later.
Hello Julie. Welcome to the Everyday Photography Meetup Group. I look forward to seeing you at some of our get-togethers!
Thanks Julie for the info. I found some spots by the Elementary School in Telfair, Sugarland, but kind of difficult taking the pictures without the houses, cars or street that are around. I definitely have to head to Brenham, these weekend or the next since the weather is dry the is not big spots yet.
I have a nikon d500 too and still learning to take good pics!
Julie,
Maybe we could have a MeetUp on building a scrapbook from digital photos. Let me or one of the organizers know if this might be something you want to speak on. We are needing Summer MeetUps and they are really good at the air conditioned library when it is hot outside.

Julie...you will not need your camera tonight for the Preparing for Print MeetUp. I would however bring a pen and some paper for any notes you might want to take. The session will be workshop oriented with minimal slide material.
I do know Jennifer. She wrote for the magazine I work for and I adopted a Golden Retriever from a group she works with. See you tomorrow.
Thanks, Julie. I hope that you can come Monday night. We'd love to see you again.
Hey Julie,
Sorry I just now saw your greeting. I hope you got some good shots. Tips for shooting the moon: Shoot at lower ISO settings. The moon is actually very bright. Shoot manual exposure (auto exposure will meter too much of the dark night sky and try to compensate for that, then your moon will be too overexposed.) These are real quick tips but I hope it worked out for you last night.
Sure! Just let me know when you'll be in this neck of the woods!
Hi Julie! Glad you'll be coming to the meetup tonight. Not a requirement to bring your camera, but it's always good to have it with you, and if you have some questions about it I'm sure one of us can help you out. Thanks for the greeting and looking forward to our meetup tonight.
